Your body is created to be a self healing mechanism. The foods you eat are the fuel your body uses to power you through all the activities you ask your body to accomplish, including mental function and healing. Supplementation is no longer a luxury for the wealthy as our food sources no longer have the nutrient density our bodies need. Even the Surgeon General now recommends taking supplements to maintain vibrant health.

Proper hydration is important because every cell, tissue, and organ in the human body consists of a high percentage of water and requires water to function correctly. Your body is about two thirds water, if you dip below that level you become dehydrated and may not even feel thirsty. Once you are well hydrated it is common for your body to crave water over other beverages. Choose the highest quality water you can afford. There are very good water filters available that can improve the quality of the water you drink but even adequate amounts of tap water are preferable over being chronically dehydrated.
